    She's also somewhat responsible for the rumors about her. If you noticed in the 1st chapter, she was caught because she was working as a wine girl, then she worked in a maid cafe. These places pays more than regular part-time jobs but it's not really good for your reputation. Plus she never really responded to the rumors before. She just kept blaming Wen Yu.

      Alternatively, perhaps people should instead stop stereotyping or looking down on others for just earning a living in such establishments. Also, if WY really had respected her rejection then, maybe (and hopefully) the rumors would not have existed.

      Wen Yu was an ass. But jealousy from other women also contributed to the rumors. Even though she is not high-profile, a lot of people still noticed her for her appearance and the attention WY gave her. This girl is just down on her luck.
